In-Character Information
Name: Reiza
Series: Inazuma Eleven GO
Canon-Point: Before Protocol Omega 3.0 are taken control of by Zanak
History: Minor character is minor.
Personality: The easy way of summing up Reiza's personality would be to use "tsundere". Unfortunately, that's not entirely accurate. On the outside, to people who don't know her very well, she comes off as a bit distant, but polite… save for her occasional bluntness. While she normally isn't afraid to say what's on her mind to other people, she has the prudence to hold her tongue while she's around one of her superiors. The moment they're out of earshot, however, is a much different story. When their backs are turned, Reiza will give all the sarcastic commentary she could possibly manage. Mind you, if she's feeling particularly brave for any reason, she will say these things to her superiors' faces. Around most other people, on the other hand, Reiza's brain-to-mouth filter seems to be faulty at best. She never means to be rude; she just wants to tell others exactly what she thinks. Aside from being blunt, she usually does her best to be polite at the same time (even if it does nothing for how direct she can be). But if you act like an idiot, she's going to call you out on it.
Those who know her a little better know that she has quite the caring, nurturing side to her. She goes out of her way to tend to sick or wounded teammates or to lend a shoulder to lean or cry on or a listening ear if they need to talk. She's loyal and devoted to those who have earned her trust. When someone she cares about is in harm's way somehow, she will do whatever she can to keep him or her safe, or, failing that, help him or her recover afterwards. She prefers to follow orders, but if they conflict with her beliefs, she will disobey them. When she's with people that she's rather close to, she's much more relaxed and open, exhibiting a sense of humor that someone certainly wouldn't expect.
Powers: In Inazuma Eleven, almost every character that can play soccer has access to hissatsu techniques. Reiza has only been shown to use one and she shares it with one of her teammates: Offense Command 04. If Reiza were to try to use it in-game, it wouldn't be nearly as effective. Not that she would have a reason to use it in-game anyway.
Starter Pokemon: Glameow
Writing Samples
First-Person Sample: [Sup, Unova, there's a girl fixing a cool, one-eyed gaze on the camera of the Xtransceiver.] So. I have a question. I can make a fairly good estimate for Miss Priss here--[She motions down to a Glameow on her lap.] --but what on earth do I feed these? [She jabs her thumb at a Litwick hovering just behind her.] The Pokédex said something about these guys feeding on life energy, but obviously you can see where that would be a bit of a problem. I like living and I'd rather not give that up to an animated candle. What do I even do? Set it out in a forest or town or something and tell it to just eat whatever the heck it wants and come back when it's done?
Third-Person Sample: Reiza could get used to this. Sure, Einam wasn't there, nor were the other A5 members aside from Quarth, and sure, Alpha was still stuck in the Infinity Prison, but it was nice here. Nobody expected things from her here. There were no missions, no orders… No Beta or Gamma to boss her around… Life was good here. The air was cleaner, the sky clearer… she could see the stars, which was wonderful. She never really was able to see them from her window back home. She didn't recognize any of the constellations she saw, but she didn't mind. She could make up her own.
She glanced down to see her Glameow curled up against her side, fast asleep. It was strange. It was almost like having a pet, but at the same time, still so much different. She and the gray feline had only known each other for a few hours and yet the Glameow was already attached. It was rather cute, admittedly. Reiza looked back at the sky for a moment and smiled again, before finally lying down so that she could fall asleep.
This really wasn't so bad after all.
